Many well-known cheeses are made from sheep milk include the Feta, Roquefort, Manchego, the Pecorino Romano, and Ricotta. Other products include yogurts (especially some forms of strained yogurt), soap, and lotions. Though sheep produce a far smaller volume of milk than cows, it is richer in fat, solids, and minerals. This is ideal for the cheese-making process.
